How SiftCV works

SiftCV renders a markdown résumé or CV as a clean, print-ready PDF on a true Letter/A4 sheet. The sample loaded here was generated by an AI agent from a real résumé.

Quick start

Load your markdown — click Open .md… or drag a .md file onto the page.
Adjust the layout — page size, margins, font, text size, and accent color in the sidebar. The dashed red lines show exactly where each printed page ends.
Export — Export PDF (print) gives crisp, selectable text (choose Save as PDF in the dialog); Download PDF (image) rasterizes the sheet and downloads the PDF directly.

Turn a Word/PDF résumé into markdown

SiftCV reads markdown only. The recommended approach is a two-step agentic workflow: paste either prompt into any AI coding assistant (Claude, Codex, Copilot…) and attach your files.
